Liverpool have won six of their last seven Premier League games against Newcastle.
Xabi Alonso's four goals this season for the Reds have all come away from Anfield.
Newcastle won their first Premier League game at Anfield (2-0 in April 1994) but have not won any of the subsequent 14, losing 12 of them.
The Reds have scored 63 goals against Newcastle, more than they have against any other team in the Premier League history.
Liverpool's 12 home wins against Newcastle is more than the Reds have managed against any other side in the Premier League.
Ala Smith has played 305 minutes this season without winning a foul, more than any other player in the Premier League.
Fernando Torres has scored a Premier League goal every 85 minutes on average at Anfield in his Liverpool career.
Only six sides in 20-team Premier League history have avoided relegation after being in the drop zone with four games to go.
All of those sides have collected at least eight points in their last four matches.
Liverpool have not had a man sent off this season but have seen nine opposition players sent off.

Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia has hit back at the perceived recent slights of his predecessor Roy Keane by advising the Irishman to focus on his own job at Ipswich.

Keane has spoken about his former club's relegation plight and confidence problems since taking over from Jim Magilton at Portman Road last month, and Sbragia - who worked for the former Manchester United captain as a coach before replacing him - appears to have taken umbrage.

"It just seems that if he wants a bit of publicity, he says something - but why not talk about Ipswich? Why is he always talking about Sunderland?" said the Scot.

"Roy left this club. He's not here and we don't talk about him, but for some reason he keeps coming back. I don't know why. Maybe he still thinks he's the manager.

"Maybe he's just bored and has nothing to do, so he thinks, 'I'll have a go at Sunderland'. I think he should just really concentrate on Ipswich. He's back in football. He should enjoy it."

Sbragia also appeared to hint at an untold story behind Keane's departure from the Stadium of Light hot seat earlier this season.

Gary Megson has reiterated his fears that Bolton face another season of struggle if they fail to bolster their squad significantly in the summer.
After four successive top-eight finishes between 2004 and 2007, the Trotters have languished in the lower half of the Barclays Premier League for the past two years. Safety was assured after a fraught battle with relegation last term but Megson's side head to Wigan on Saturday still seeking to cement their top-flight status for a ninth successive year.
"We haven't got one of the smallest squads in the Premier League - it's THE smallest squad," Megson claimed. "I think Liverpool have got 62 professionals on their books and we have 27, although I had a head count and couldn't get it up to 27. I think three or four got slipped in there."
He added: "It's important that we make sure we're safe first and then we'll assess the season and look at what needs to be done.
"Player recruitment will certainly be one of the issues that will be addressed."
Megson has generally impressed with his spending since replacing the hapless Sammy Lee in October 2007.
Gary Cahill and Matt Taylor - both tipped to win full England international honours - and Gretar Steinsson were bought in January 2008 and played a key role in the club's survival last term.
In the summer Megson persuaded the club to spend £10million on Sweden striker Johan Elmander and pay £5million for Birmingham midfielder Fabrice Muamba.
The jury remains out on those two but Megson said: "I've been pleased with all of my signings because they joined a club that wasn't on the up. It was going the other way to be perfectly honest.

Skipper Jonathan Greening believes West Brom have been "a credit to division" even though they could be on the verge of being relegated from the Barclays Premier League.

And the former Manchester United star has urged supporters to keep faith in manager Tony Mowbray's philosophies and way of playing the game.

The Baggies will go into Saturday's game at Tottenham six points adrift of fourth from bottom Hull who visit Aston Villa 24 hours later.

But they gave themselves a glimmer of hope by ending a 12-match sequence without a victory by triumphing 3-0 at home to fellow strugglers Sunderland last weekend.

Greening, who has already pledged to stay with West Brom if they are relegated, said: "All we can do now is give it everything we've got in the last four games and hope we can get some wins on board.

"Over the season I think we've been a credit to the division. Some of our football has been really good at times and we're really not far away from being a successful side at this level. We are just missing a bit of experience at the back and maybe a regular goalscorer but we have got some good players. We are definitely playing the right way.

Fulham striker Andrew Johnson is unavailable for the trip to west London rivals Chelsea due to the knee injury he suffered in last weekend's 1-0 win over Stoke.

The former Everton striker has slight damage to knee ligaments, however, he is expected to be fit in time for next weekend's visit of Aston Villa.

Bobby Zamora will start in Johnson's place after he was passed fit after suffering a back spasm against the Potters and will partner Erik Nevland, who scored last week's winner after replacing him, up front.

Simon Davies will miss the remainder of the season as he needs surgery on a foot problem while Giles Barnes will miss the trip to Stamford Bridge with an Achilles injury. The midfielder is expected to return to training next week.
